What to include when you email

  • a screenshot when possible

Including your device model, OS version, app version, and a short description of the issue will speed up support.

My prompts are not syncing between iPhone and Mac

PromptWallet private sync depends on iCloud and CloudKit. Make sure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID for iCloud, iCloud is available on both devices, PromptWallet has been opened on both devices, and you are using a build with CloudKit enabled. Sign in with Apple inside PromptWallet is optional and is not the same thing as iCloud sync.

Sign in with Apple is not working

Check that Sign in with Apple is available for your Apple ID on the device, network access is working, and Apple authentication prompts are not being blocked. If sign-in still fails, include a screenshot of the error message when contacting support.

A shared prompt did not import correctly

Check that you opened the PromptWallet import link from the message, you are using the latest build of PromptWallet, and the shared message was not edited or truncated. If you see an import failure alert, send a screenshot of the alert and whether the share came from Messages, Notes, Mail, or another app.

The app feels frozen or a page opens slowly

Force quit PromptWallet, reopen the app, and try the same flow again. If the issue continues, send the exact screen where it happened, what you tapped just before it froze, and whether it happens on iPhone, Mac, or both.

Discover or imports feel confusing

Tell support what you expected to happen, what was unclear, and which screen you were on. PromptWallet is actively improving the first-run flow, so this feedback is especially useful.

Backups and Export

PromptWallet includes backup and restore support in Settings.

If you are planning a major device change or reinstall, make a backup first.

Response Expectations

For launch, support is best-effort.

If you send a clear bug report with device, version, and screenshot details, that makes it much easier to reproduce and fix quickly.
