Common support topics

What to include when you email

  • device type (Apple Watch or iPhone)
  • watchOS and iOS version
  • WatchStudy app version
  • whether the issue involves sync, AI, or purchases
  • what deck or workflow you were using
  • what happened instead
  • a screenshot when possible

Including your device model, OS version, app version, and a short description of the issue will speed up support.

My decks are not syncing between iPhone and Apple Watch

Open WatchStudy on both devices, confirm they are signed into the same Apple ID for iCloud, and retry the sync flow. If the issue continues, include whether the deck was created locally or through an import flow.

AI deck generation or cleanup failed

AI features depend on the network path used at the time of the request. Include the deck source, whether the request was generation or cleanup, and any error message you saw.

Pro features still look locked after purchase

Try restore purchases while signed into the same Apple ID used for the subscription. If the Pro state does not return, send a screenshot of the purchase screen and app version.

I hit deck or card limits on the free plan

The free plan includes a limited number of unlocked decks and cards per deck. If you think the limit is being applied incorrectly, include the deck count and a screenshot of the limit state.

Apple Watch sync

WatchStudy relies on iPhone and Apple Watch staying connected through your Apple environment for sync.

If sync looks stale, reopen the app on both devices first before reporting the issue.

AI features

AI deck generation and import cleanup are optional features.

If an AI request fails, send the exact flow you used and whether the request involved pasted text, imported notes, or an existing deck.

Subscriptions

WatchStudy Pro subscriptions are handled through the App Store.

Include screenshots for purchase, restore, or entitlement issues so support can distinguish billing from app-state problems.
